The MPAA wants to force ISPs to police their own networks for pirated material and automatically send warning letters to their customers when they access pirated content.

U.S. copyright 'czar' doesn't own a computer
U.S. copyright ‘czar’ Marybeth Peters admits that she doesn’t even have a computer at home. In other words, one of the people most responsible for the copyright rules in the new digital age doesn’t even use any of the new technology. Combine that with Rep. Howard Berman being in charge of the Congressional committee that deals with copyright law and it looks like things aren’t going to change anytime soon.
