RIAA backs down - slightly
After being countersued that the RIAA was trying to “shame” a man in Tennessee into settling out of court, the RIAA partially backed down.

Mercury News has an interesting article. It’s really about Uri Geller trying to use the copyright take-down to try to silence his detractors. Actually, I’d thought Geller and the Amazing Kreskin had been laughed off the stage years ago.
But the article is interesting because it has several other examples, besides Geller, of the misuse of the take-down notice.
