DMCA take-down for professor
Now this is irony.
Wendy Seltzer, the law professor who founded Chilling Effects, has received her very own DMCA take-down “(external)notice”http://wendy.seltzer.org/blog/archives/2007/02/13/my_first_dmca_takedown.html.
Seltzer had posted a clip, for educational purposes showing how copyright holders sometime exaggerate their rights, from the Superbowl where they announced: “This telecast is copyrighted by the NFL for the private use of our audience. Any other use of this telecast or of any pictures, descriptions, or accounts of the game without the NFL’s consent, is prohibited.”
