Oracle buys Sun Microsystems
In a surprise move, Oracle buys Sun Microsystems. While the purchase makes sense, as it allows Oracle to get into the hardware business, it does raise some doubts about the future of some other products Sun owns such as OpenOffice, MySQL and Solaris. See the story at OS News.
